A bit of a scare

It was ALMOST a no-spend day, but mid-afternoon I bought a bag of popcorn from the vending machine. Once again, my hunger overcame my sense.

I had a bit of a scare at work. When I was getting ready to go home, I threw my wallet into my lunch bag without even realizing what I was doing. Then I decided to check my purse to make sure everything was there (I tend to scatter my stuff during the day). Well, I didn't see my wallet and went into a panic looking for it. I had just decided that it must have been stolen and was mentally going through the list of all the things I had to do -- when I took a look in the lunch bag, and there it was! Now I'm so grateful I didn't lose my wallet! It almost makes me feel like a got a bonus!

    Sympathize. I paid for gas recently, got back in the car, and, for some unknown reason, put my wallet over the sun visor. I realized it was missing when I got home. Instant panic until I found it. Nutty thing to do, but I know how you felt.

    Now, about that afternoon snack you want to pack next week . . . *grin*
