Bad news

I was planning to post today about my New Year's resolutions -- one of which was to blog (or try to) every day. I've really been letting it go.

But I got bad news early this morning, so I will only share this for now. My big brother passed away suddenly from a heart attack yesterday evening. He was only 66. He leaves his wife, four children, and five grandchildren, as well as two sisters and a brother. He was shoveling snow after a big snowfall, which he probably shouldn't have been doing, but it was so typical of him to tackle a job that was too big.

I'm still in shock.

He was a very religious man, so if you are of like mind, please say a prayer for his family.
