The winter storm has begun in earnest. My boss sent me home at 3 and work is closed tomorrow. The snow is coming down like gangbusters. I am worried about my outdoor cats, but there is nothing more I can do.

I promised to work from home tomorrow, and I will, but I am not doing anything more today. I am nestling in. I keep hearing planes overhead (I live near O'Hare) and I wonder what the heck they are doing in the sky. I pray that everyone lands safely.

I generally love a snow day, but this is kind of scary.
