Great day!

February 15th, 2011 at 04:19 pm

First of all, it's payday, and, thanks to my tax refund, I was able to move $1050 into savings.

Then, I went to a vendors fair at work and got a free lunch -- pizza, Sun Chips, an ice cream sandwich and a Rice Krispie square. OK, not very nutritious, but free! I also got a chocolate bar but I was able to resist eating that right away.

Then, in the afternoon, I got an email telling me that I won a $25 gift certificate to Papa John's in the raffle. Woo-hoo!

So, since I was feeling so good, I went to Jewel and pleaded my case about the coupons that I didn't get credit for. The customer service assistant was perfectly lovely. She refunded me the cash and even apologized. And she was just taking my word for it.

So, great day!

The only bad part was that I went over my calorie limit, but I'll get back on track tomorrow.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, even though it was TERRIBLE MEETING day, the meeting was just fine!

Wow! With that kind of luck going you probably should've bought a lottery ticket at Jewel!

What a nice day! I'm glad you went back to the Jewel.
That's lots of Papa Johns! I'm so happy for you!

Mmm ... I love Sun Chips. I was actually looking for some on Sunday in prep for this week, but Walmart didn't seem to have any. Frown

You did have a pretty fantastic day - free lunch and lots of free pizza in the future! Sweet!

Free food the best! But I hear you on the calorie thing. I am on WW and gained a pound this week!
