Not too much to share today. I bought a lock for my "new" tire cover, which is mounted on the back of my car. It was repaired when I had the body work done, but they had to cut off the previous lock since I no longer had a key. (Wonder where that went?) Anyway, I was advised to lock up again as soon as possible, as tire theft is rampant in these times. So I bought the lock at the local hardware store for $7.50. Walked there to get it. Got a discount for being a previous Ace preferred customer, even though it isn't an Ace any more.

My office plants were in dire need of repotting, and I was planning to buy new pots, but I discovered that I had some leftover plastic pots on my patio. They were the right size and they look fine. I already had a bag of potting soil. So -- repotted plants, no money out! They look happy today. You can just tell they're stretching their legs!

I had such a good meal for dinner last night. A bowl of borscht, a grilled cheese sandwich, and a salad. I usually don't bother to make myself a three-course meal, but I am trying to be more mindful about what I eat -- and about using up what I have on hand.
