Still no power at work, so I'm off today again. The funny thing is, there is so much to do at work I wish I were there! We closed the fiscal year last week, but still have many gifts to process and get on the books. Many gifts came in via the website, and those are just sitting. It's frustrating.
But I will enjoy my leisure time.
I had a great low-carb breakfast this morning. Scrambled eggs and mushrooms, bacon, strawberries with cream and coffee. I miss the flour and sugar a little, but I feel so much better, it's worth the sacrifice.
Yesterday I filled a precription. Though it came from my flexible spending account, I will still count it in the $300 challenge. That put me down to $71. I earned $3 from Pinecone, so I think I'll add that to my total; so I have $74.
I'm supposed to go out with my supper group this month, and I'm also supposed to meet my old boss for dinner. I should also get a haircut, though I can probably trim my bangs myself and otherwise be a little shaggy.
And I still haven't scheduled my DIL's birthday dinner.
Condo update: my realtor said the seller is out of the hospital, but medicated. No action there.
