The lease

Since I am now not even close to getting into a condo, I had to close the deal on my lease. I went to the office and paid my new rent. In the end, I decided not to go month-to-month, as I don't know when I'll find a place and the extra rent would add up quickly. I'll have to pay a penalty to break the lease, but who knows? I might not even find a place till next summer, when it's time to sign the lease again. (Though I hope it will not be that long. I'm ready to make the move.)

Still haven't spent any money, so I am still at $52!

    I think that sounds like a good path to take. This way, you won't feel rushed into making a decision on a condo and can hold off until you find one just right for you!

    And you never know... there is always a possibility of finding someone to sublease if you find something sooner.
