Found another penny on my walk in! Weird how happy that makes me!

I made it to the polls last night about a half-hour before they closed, and all my records were in order. Those of us there were die-hard voters, because it was dark, rainy, and the building was tiny -- hardly any room to get to the machines.

I believe I spent nothing at all yesterday. It's been a while since that happened! But today I will be paying a medical bill, and tonight I have to do a load of laundry.

I went to a health fair at work yesterday, where they served mini ham sandwiches for lunch, along with fruit and chips. So that was my free lunch. Then, since Human Resources, the department that sponsored the fair, is right down the hall, the leftover sandwiches appeared in our break room in the late afternoon. I took one for dinner. Lo and behold, this morning there were more in the break room fridge! So I had two for breakfast. I think now I'm officially tired of them, but seriously, if they are still there at lunch time, I'm going for it. I love free food!

I did some shopping on Amazon yesterday for Christmas -- bought a game, a book, and also some citric acid for my dishwasher detergent recipe. But it was still a no-spend day because it was all free, paid for with Discover rewards. Gotta love that!
