Grocery shopping & Garrett's Popcorn

June 19th, 2013 at 02:40 pm

Even though I didn't feel like getting in the car and going to the grocery store last night, I wanted to use my $20 coupon before it expired. I ended up spending $21.38, so for $1.38 out of pocket I got:

64 oz. bleach
18 oz. peanut butter
5 oz. croutons
Box of Kraft mac & cheese
15 oz. lime juice
3 bags microwave popcorn
16 oz. sour cream
14 oz. flour tortillas
8 oz. cream cheese
1 Stouffer's chicken pot pie
1 large frozen supreme pizza

My savings beyond the $20 coupon was $4.81, for items that were on sale.

I'm going back on Saturday to use the other coupon.

That's the good news. The bad news is, I succumbed to Garrett's popcorn in the station last night. I bought a small bag of the cashew caramel crisp. $5. I made it my supper. Those of you who know Chicago know the lure of Garrett's popcorn!
