This was a high-spend month, since I'm pushing myself to spend $2000 on my Discover card. Interestingly enough, though, it is only my third-highest spending month this year! (I admit the other two were skewed by taxes and car repairs.)
Housing - $677
Vacation/Travel - $458
Furnishings/Equipment/Decor - $362
Gifts/Charity - $318
Clothing - $181
Groceries - $170
Eating Out - $129
Medical/Health - $124
Utilities - $109
Vet/Pet Supplies - $92
Fares/Parking - $81
Gas - $71
Phone - $50
Laundry - $17
Personal - $12
Miscellaneous - $10
Entertainment - $8
Household Supplies - $5
Car Repair/Maintenance - $1
Grand Total - $2875
The vacation total includes 3 airline tickets, and I will be reimbursed for some of that cost. At least half, maybe more.
Furnishings - that includes $244 spent on fabric for my couch recover.
Gifts/Charity - Biggest chunk of that was for tickets to Medieval Times for the whole family; also, a donation to the school, birthday gifts, and street donations.
Clothing - Most of that was for 3 pairs of shoes.
Groceries - Higher than usual but not my highest.
Eating Out - EEK! Some was unavoidable, but a lot of grab 'n' go food.
Medical/Health - Most of that was for ER copay.
Utilities - Actually a bit lower than usual.
Vet/Pet Supplies - Included cats' window seat (about which they are still blase)
Fares/Parking - Lower! Yay, senior ticket!
Gas - Higher than usual; lots of driving
Everything else is in line or not worth mentioning. But if you're curious, the $1 car repair/maintenance cost was the cost of vacuuming the interior.
