Working at Home

December 8th, 2015 at 06:07 pm

I was delighted to get up this morning and find that the remote access was working. I got in 4 1/2 hours until I was kicked out. I'll try it again later. I would like to get in about 8 hours today.

I have to go to the library to return items, and I also have my grandson's winter concert to attend tonight. I'll make the library trip as soon as I finish here, then hope that I can get back in and get some good time in before the concert at 7.

With all these challenges, I might have to face the possibility that I might not be able to finish. Or I might have to work at odd hours, like in the middle of the night.

Tomorrow I go back in person, and I will get there early, so that I am not the one they have to find a space for. I got an email this morning that my check is ready and in the payroll office. So at least I have that to be thankful for! And tomorrow I'm going to have lunch with a friend, despite the time crunch. And my old workplace is having a holiday party on the evening of the 16th, and I will try to make that, too. I really want to remain social this month, despite the urgency to work.

89 1/2 hours to go!

Today's menu:

Breakfast: Toast & jam
Lunch: Pizza, trail mix
Dinner: Salad
