Tonsillectomy

February 11th, 2016 at 01:47 pm

My grandson's tonsillectomy went well. I went to visit him after he got home, and he was tired and uncomfortable, but doing well. He even ate some pizza. I took him a Beanie Boo for comfort, a $6 expense for me. My only spending yesterday.

I had pizza myself, so it was a free dinner for me.

Today I'm going to run some errands. It's cold outside, but it's only going to get colder, so I might as well get them done. I'm going to get groceries and mail some packages. I also need to get some last-minute Valentines for the grandchildren.

I have my W-2 form at last, so I will start on taxes today.

While I was in Florida, a button fell off my capris, so I'm going to sew that back on before I put them away for the winter. I'm going to try to be more prompt about mending; I can procrastinate to a ridiculous degree.

Today's Menu:

Breakfast: Toast, stewed apples
Lunch: Refrigerator soup
Dinner: Sloppy gobblers

Yikes! I had my tonsils (and adenoids) out when I was 5 and I couldn't/wouldn't eat solid food for days.

I know, I was pretty amazed! He had a lot of ice cream and pudding, too.
