I believe my total spending today will be $3 for laundry.

I went to my grandson's baseball game. After so many good games, he had a bad one today. His team won, but he hit two batters while pitching and was taken out. Then he struck out, and the third strike was an obviously bad call. He was devastated. He usually keeps his equilibrium very well, but he just lost it today. He was invited to a swimming party this afternoon, so I hope by now he is splashing around and over it all.

Last night was my first walk with the walking club. We walked most of an hour. It was supposed to be a lakeside walk, but instead we walked in my neighborhood (just west of the lake) in order to be in the shade. I was really tired! Our group began with six and only three finished -- our leader walked pretty briskly. There's another one tomorrow morning.

I found a big discrepancy in my check register this morning -- finally determined that I forgot to subtract my latest assessment fee payment. Glad it was so easy to figure out, and before anything bounced.

Guess that's all! Looking forward to a day of reading and relaxation!

Sorry your GS had a bad day Frown Its hard to watch them go through childhood set-backs.

The walking club does sound fun! How did you discover it?

My DIL told me about it -- she works at Pure Barre and so hears about a lot of fitness-related things. The program is run by the city's parks department.

Sorry about the grandson's bad day. Hopefully the swimming party helped balance out the bad with some good.

What a great idea -- a walking club.

Glad you found the discrepancy in your check register before anything bounced. Smart woman that you be!
