Today I got my driver's license renewed - $31. There was a Goodwill in the plaza, so I stopped in and spent $12 there. I got three bowls, a small platter, a pair of sunglasses, brand-new swim trunks for my grandson, and two small gifts to put away for Christmas, a pewter frame and a copper cookie cutter.
On the way home I stopped and got a free car wash. I got the coupon from my mechanic. It was worth $8, which I added to snowflakes.
Then I came home and rested -- I even took a nap! That was probably a mistake, since it makes it harder to sleep at night, but it sure felt good.
Variables are at 57%.
I think I'll be able to survive on what I have in the pantry and freezer for the rest of the month. No grocery shopping planned unless I run out of something vital.
After all my traveling, I'm really ready to hunker down at home and do nothing. So I think I'll get back and work on that....
