My test results came back, and my LDL has improved to the point that I no longer have to take a statin. I will be monitored, however, so I have to be ultra-careful with diet and exercise.
I can't tell you how happy it makes me to know I don't have to endure that ache in my muscles. If my knees would just shape up now, I'd be feeling pretty good!
Yesterday I got a free MyMixx deal, a single serving of Tai Pei broccoli & beef worth $2.50. I added $2.50 to my snowflakes.
I spent $18 on a haircut. The price has gone up again. I do get a 10% senior discount. I really like my stylist, so I'm not going to look around for a cheaper cut.
Today I'm taking a lakeside walk -- in fact, in about an hour. The temperature is nice, so it should be a great walk. We have storm warnings for later in the day, but the weather is great now.
Food stores are holding up great; I don't anticipate any shortages in the near future.
