I went to Aldi after the gym this morning, and spent $20 on wine, maple syrup, bacon bits, poppyseed dressing and a bag of frozen chicken breasts.

Yesterday, Iggy (now I know it's him!) barfed on my bed. This time, the mattress pad was spared, but he got the comforter. It's a pain to wash. I washed the sheets yesterday and saved the comforter to wash today; I slept under my quilt, but I was pretty cold. The comforter is in the dryer now (where it will only halfway dry; it's too big. I'll hang it to dry in my bathroom.) That's $3 worth of laundry.

I've spent 23% of my variables.

I need to buy some honeycomb shades for the living room, and a new pair of athletic shoes. The shoes can probably wait longer than the shades can. I'll probably order the shades online, just haven't gotten around to taking the measurements and placing the order.

That will be my "fun" spending this month....

The weather is nice today, so I'll probably try to fit in a walk later.
