Cleaning - Not So Much

Well, I did some cleaning yesterday -- vacuuming, sweeping, laundry, putting stuff away. But then I got sidetracked because there were TWO of my favorite movies on TV -- "Shakespeare in Love" and "Cold Mountain" -- back to back. So I stopped and watched them, and I don't regret that! Hope to get more done today.

I'm planning a train trip into the city today, just to get my train pass. Have to do this before the month changes, or I will end up buying a ticket on the train on Tuesday morning -- and there is a surcharge for that. I'm going to take my grandsons with me, so we will probably buy a lunch or snack in the station -- so I won't really save any money! But it will be fun, and I need to keep doing things with the grandsons as long as they still think it's fun to hang out with Grandma!

I had an avocado getting ripe, so I made guacamole this morning. I had it for breakfast on a tortilla with cheese. My breakfasts are getting more and more unusual!

    You did get a lot done! I had pepper jack cheese and olives for breakfast recently, so your guacamole sounds good to me!

    I made some baba gounash with 2 eggplant i got from the farm and i ate thewhole thing tonight for my dinner with some pita bread and a salad. My dinners are as strange as your breakfasts!
