Birthday Gift

DIL's birthday is coming up this month, so I took a look at her Amazon list yesterday and ordered a showerhead for her for $41. Not my typical sort of gift for her, but it was on her list!

I think we may celebrate her birthday when we meet in the park for Father's Day.

Variables are at 13%.

I didn't get much done yesterday. I took a walk in the afternoon and had a visit through DS' window. The weather was amazingly beautiful.

I started watching the lecture series on the Black Death which is featured on Amazon Prime. It is a straight-out lecture -- not entertainment -- but I am finding it fascinating. At the other end of the spectrum, I am also watching "Schitt's Creek."

I got $3 from Amazon for being an early reviewer of the computer I bought.

By the way, the hot water was restored almost immediately after I posted yesterday. And it's hotter than ever, so I don't know what they did!

    My wife and I have been watching Schitt's Creek. We're most of the way through season 2 and really enjoying it. We try to have at least one dramatic show and one comedy going at the same time so we can pick based on our mood. We just finished season 2 of Dead to Me and finished Good Omens (Amazon Prime) last week and Another Life (Netflix) before that. We just started Hollywood tonight and liked that but I think it's only 5 or 7 episodes so it won't last us long.
