Soulmates at the recycling center?

No spending yesterday. I went to the gym, made a trip to the recycling center, visited a friend, and even mopped and vacuumed my floors (my most hated chore).

While at the recycling center I noticed two woman checking out the cans and tearing off labels. I wondered if they were looking for coupons or if they were collecting labels for a rebate. I didn't get a chance to ask them, as there were others around, and the women were obviously trying to look inconspicuous. Perhaps feeling a little embarrassed. I hope they found what they were looking for!

Meals yesterday:

Breakfast: French toast, sausage, coffee, milk
Snack: Granola and milk
Lunch: Turkey and lettuce in pita half
Dinner: Beef stew, milk
Snack: Cookies

    I am funny in that I have no shame when it comes to saving money. Maybe it is because I grew up poor and realize that embarassment does not help fill your stomach or your bank acount! I still reach down to pick up pennies!Smile
