Getting ready for the trip

Aha! At last! Yesterday was a no spend day.

Today is our second luncheon at work. I'm picking up a meat & cheese platter on my way to work -- will contribute $3 toward the cost -- everyone else has paid up. Yesterday's lunch was fabulous -- and I got a free dinner, too, because the nice person who brought shrimp & cocktail sauce sent the leftovers home with me. Shrimp cocktail for dinner? Works for me!

I'm almost packed for my trip to Florida. Tonight I need to tidy up the house (a friend will be coming in to feed my cat, so I don't want to leave it a mess). I'm also going to see "Pursuit of Happyness" tonight with another friend. It was actually planned for yesterday, but we both decided last night was better spent getting ready for our respective trips. She's flying to California. I'm driving her to the airport at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning and from there I will continue on to Atlanta, where I will meet up with my sister and spend the night. Then it's on to Florida the next day.

I hope I will be able to check in with you guys while I'm on vacation. I'm packing my computer!

    Instead of lugging that computer, you can always use the computer at the local library there to check your email!
