It was one of those days I stayed in all day. I worked for three hours, but I hit another snag. I have to modify a PDF but don't have Acrobat Pro on my loaner laptop. Nor on my own computer, for that matter. So I'm going to offer to go in on Monday so I can get it loaded and then complete some of this work. This is getting ridiculous. I get so close and then something else holds me up.

It was a good day to stay in all day -- cold and blustery. I didn't even step out to do laundry! I've heard that a lot of people are out of power after the storms, so I'm feeling lucky to be warm and toasty.

I got a call from the shop today that my car is almost ready and I can pick it up tomorrow. And they are going to detail it for me! The guy I talked to said, "It looks a-MAZ-ing!" I can hardly wait.

Then I have to spend the afternoon in a board retreat. This will be my last face-to-face meeting before I cycle off the board. There will be a couple of phone meetings, and I will have to go to the bank with the new Treasurer to transfer the account, but after that I'm done!

I will continue to serve on the programming committee, though, mainly so I can keep in touch with people who have become good friends.

No real financial news, I guess. I think I'll charge the car work to Discover to get the cash back, though it seems those rewards are getting smaller. Too bad I didn't get around to getting a new credit card so I could earn a bonus, but those are the breaks.
