BFF left for home about an hour ago, and I'm unwinding. We had a great weekend together, though I had a mystery illness yesterday afternoon and evening that disappeared overnight, thank goodness. Don't know exactly what was wrong, but I had very bad acid reflux and a headache, as well as a cough. I was very tired from some sleepless nights, so I wonder if my body was just telling me, "Get some sleep, dummy!"
We saw four Oscar movies together and went out to eat a few times. My total cost for food was $42. We also did a bit of shopping. I spent $40 on new towels, and then at Goodwill I found a new purse for $10 and two pairs of reading glasses for a buck each.
I have laundry to do now, but I'm going back to a little more unwinding first....
