My grandson's baseball season, that is. They lost today to a team that, I have to say, was pretty amazing at both offense and defense. Our team played respectably, but the other team just blew them out of the water.

I thought that there would be no Fall Ball, and that is partly right -- the city league will not hold games -- but my grandson will be playing games for a baseball academy where he takes lessons, so there actually will be more games to come.

Despite the loss, it was a lovely day, sitting under a tree and enjoying the breezes. My other grandson had a great time operating his remote control Jeep, which was very entertaining to some little ones.

I ran a load of laundry yesterday afternoon - $1.50 -- and I bought a gift on Amazon for a friend - $14. Variables are at 9%.
