I woke up this morning to a beautiful blanket of snow. I am living in a postcard!

I just saw someone trying to drive up the hill in front of my house, and he didn't make it. So I guess I am stuck inside. Well, that will guarantee a no-spender.

The other day I made a low-cost recipe from Woman's Day -- penne with mushrooms and bacon. Even though I halved the recipe, it made a ton. So the second day I made it different by warming it up with marinara sauce. Today I'm going to make some Alfredo sauce. If there's still some left tomorrow, I'll toss it in dressing and call it a salad!
