The restaurant closed!

My older son called last night to tell me that his restaurant closed. He was the manager. The owner had neglected to renew the liquor license and they were heavily fined. The restaurant may reopen in a month, but my son is looking at other options.

I feel so sorry for him. He was having so much trouble getting himself established, and then it seemed like finally everything was working out for him. Now he has to start over.

I can't believe his boss was such an idiot.

He says he has enough money to live on for a couple of months, so I will try not to worry.

    that's terrible, but it's so good that he has $$ to live on for a while. You should be proud that you taught him that: for many of us, a job loss would bounce us to the street w/in one paycheck.
