Yesterday I cashed in Swagbucks for a $5 Amazon credit, did a Pinecone survey which will soon bring $3 and sold a book on half.com. (Only .75, but I always make a little money on the postage allowance.) So basically it was a little money in, no money out.
I also sent a reminder and a SASE to the antiques business asking for my deposit back. I closed down at the end of May -- way more than enough time to cut the check. I'm glad I'm not dealing with them any more.
I didn't get to see the condo last night -- my realtor was stuck in a closing -- but he is working on a time when I can get in. This is in the same building as the one I saw last weekend, but it's on the first floor. Looks like it's had a lot of updates, including a granite counter top and new kitchen appliances! And still cheaper than the other! The real test for me is what the bathroom looks like.
I got a coupon in the mail for a $2.99 haircut at Great Clips. The catch is, it's the one I frequent, and the coupon says "for new customers." Dang! I might just try it anyway.
Money coming in, not out
