Light spending yesterday. I spent $12 at Aldi for flour, salad, cheese dip, croutons, and walnuts. The walnuts were half the cost! But I always like to have walnuts on hand, and I use them in salads quite a bit. In the late afternoon/evening I had two movies to see (3 Billboards, Phantom Thread) and I got a snack at McDonald's in between for $2. I also did a $1.50 load of laundry.
I really need to make bread, but I was tired yesterday and I didn't get it done. I hope to do that today, after gym and another small shopping trip. I also need to clean the fish tank. I noticed the filter had slowed to a trickle the other day and the water was cloudy. I installed the new filter I had on hand. The flow is much better, but the water still hasn't cleared up. I know it is probably bacterial bloom rather than dirt, but cleaning can only help.
And I have more laundry to do.
Funny how all these little things fill up your day when you're retired.
Two more movies today, starting at 4 pm: Lady Bird and Dunkirk.
