The dentist gave me a temporary crown, and I will get a permanent one on March 6. The cost was $1115, which I put on my Discover card. It closed yesterday, so that will put off the actual payment till next month. For tracking, though, I always count at the point of purchase.
I was glad I waited for my own dentist, because he was just so professional and got it all done so efficiently it was like clockwork. I really felt like I was literally in good hands.
I do need to check today whether the crown will be metal or porcelain. I want porcelain, as it is pretty visible. But I forgot to ask about it yesterday.
In other spending, I sent $20 to my Oregon grandchildren inside their valentines. I will do the same for the local grandchildren, but I don't have to send those.
We had a snowfall yesterday that lasted through the night. Even so, it is not very deep. It's one of those lovely, winter-wonderland snows that makes the trees all lacy. I don't have to go anywhere today, so I will lay low. Maybe get out for a walk in the afternoon, when everything is cleared.
